Lolita dress

How handy for my daughters is that their mother knows how to make this and that. This time I had  a lovely project sewing a Lolita dress for my youngest. Materials we gathered from the local fabric shops, she told me what kind of a dress she would like to have and then it begun, sewing. I started with a tulle petticoat, then a blouse and dress. Finally that outskirt, you can keep on or take it off and same with the bow in front. Photos we took at Kolmikulma and Jokipuisto in Karhula, Kotka. And my customer, she is happy with her new costume. 

Olin jo kauan haaveillut Lolita asun valmistamisesta ja nyt oma, ihana asiakkaani halusi sellaisen. Materiaalit löytyivät paikallisista kangaskaupoista ja kun malli oli selvillä, aloitin ompelun, viikonloppuharrastuksenani :) Alushame, paita, mekko, irtohelma organzasta ja rusetti edessä (myös irrotettavissa). Aikaa vierähti, tunteja, mutta asu, kuten mallinsakin, on mielestäni viehättävä. Ihana projekti :) Pyörähdimme kuvaamassa Karhulan Kolmikulmassa ja Jokipuistossa.
