A broken root

This appletree was planted on the day my eldest was christened on May, fourteen years ago. This weekend, when we celebrated Midsummer, we had such a hard stormy wind that this lovely tree couldn't survive it. One root is broken and the whole tree had fallen onto my perennials. My daughter hugged the torso of her appletree and we all wish the tree will somehow grow new roots and we will see it bloom again.
